How To Join
Three steps to join the Avalon Community:
1. Send a note to the club with the subject "Member", stating you want to join, and you will be added to the member's list.
2.Watch the community, and the community will watch you.
3.Please put the Avalon Community icon into your journal so that other people may know that we exist. Like this: : iconavaloncommunity : (without the spaces)
Doing only one of these things will unfortunately NOT get you a membership. Please guys, read the description carefully and do what it says to become a member. Thank you. I'm sorry, but I have to make everyone join in the same way, if I don't it'll be very difficult for me to know who's our members and who are just watching.
I'd really appreciate it if you read the Avalon Journal news every once in a while once you have become a member, since that is our only way of communication (except the chat). Thanks!

How To Submit Your Work
To submit your work into the group, just send a note to the group with a link to your deviation, and we'll upload the deviation into the group's gallery. Give the note the title "Submission".
The work allowed into the community has to be inspired by mystery, magic, fantasy, myths or the supernatural. Pictures of such things as Dogs, Cats, General snapshots, Portrait pictures etc…. will no longer be allowed.

The History of the Holy Isle of Avalon
There are hundreds, maybe thousands of stories of the mystical and magical island of Avalon that once lay on the very spot that the hill of Glastonbury lies today. Some stories say that on this island there was a great stone circle, the Holy Tor, and here, druid priests and priestesses worshipped their gods. It was a place of mystery, beauty, magic and mythology. It has been suggested that maybe its inhabitants came from the sunken island of Atlantis. Who knows? Avalon, that is often called the Isle of Apples, is connected to the stories of King Arthur, as Avalon was where the king's half-sister Morgan Le Fey/Morgana/Morgaine/(and so many other names) was brought up to druid lore or as some say, evil witchcraft. In one story, Avalon eventually disappeared to the eyes of men as it drifted into the land of Faerie and was gone forever...
